North Fork of the White River
This blue ribbon trout stream offers a mix of wild rainbow and brown trout, plus a rare seasonal opportunity to chase striped bass on the fly. From May through October, stripers run more than 20 miles upstream from Norfork Lake, with peak conditions in June and July.
We fish streamers using 8–9 weight rods and sink-tip lines. These trips are best suited for experienced anglers looking to cover water and target big fish. Other species like smallmouth bass, walleye, and the occasional goggle eye are also possible.
For early morning striper trips, we recommend staying on-site at Sunburst Ranch, right on the river. Lodging packages available.
Full Day for 1–2 – $500 (includes lunch)

Eleven Point River trips are operated in partnership with Richards Canoe Rental, a licensed U.S. Forest Service outfitter. We’ll confirm your exact meeting time and location the day before your trip.
Do we fish from a drift boat or wade the river?
Most trips are run from a drift boat, which allows us to cover more water and makes for a comfortable day on the river. Wading is limited, but can be arranged upon request — just let us know ahead of time.
If you’re new to fly fishing, staying in the boat is often the easiest way to learn and stay safe, especially in unfamiliar water.
